What the site itself collects: no personal data

Mississippi Maple has no accounts, no sign up forms, no comments and no checkout. The site itself collects no personal data, and it never asks for your name, email address or any other identifier.

• Your calculations stay on your device. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to a server, stored or shared.
• Analytics, described honestly. This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which calculators people use, roughly where visitors come from, and where pages can be improved. These services see standard technical information such as the pages visited, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location at the city level. They set their own cookies (for example the _ga cookie from Google and the _clck and _clsk cookies from Microsoft) to tell visits apart. Clarity records anonymized interaction data such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement; text you type into calculator fields is masked in those recordings, and in any case your numbers are never sent anywhere by the calculators themselves.
• No advertising trackers. No advertising scripts, advertising cookies or social media pixels run on this site. If advertising is ever added, this policy will be updated first, before any advertising partner is switched on.
• Standard server logs. Like any website, the hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as the page requested and the time) for security and operation. These are not used to profile visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on Google publishes for that purpose, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; every calculator on this site keeps working with analytics blocked or cookies off.

If that changes, this page changes first

If advertising, paid accounts or any new third party service are added later, this policy will be updated before any of them are switched on, and the update will describe what is collected, why, which third parties are involved, and how to opt out where that applies. Advertising partners such as Google AdSense, if used, may set their own cookies to serve and measure ads; that will be disclosed here before it happens, not after.
